The Ritz Carlton - Complaint
Check in time at 3:00 pm room wasnt ready until 6:00om, after my wife checked the bed at approximately 10pm wine stains, sheets nasty. Stanley Smith the MOD came up finally with house keeping to get the room clean. We didnt get to bed until 1:00am They billed my card an extra $500:00 and some dollars over.

Horrible yacht experience!

I'm on the Evrima yacht on board here and it's a mess on board. The service is lacking and overall it's like staying at the Marriott Courtyard at best ! Someone needs to call me asap. I want my money back!!!

Outrageous Pricing.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Ritz Carlton in Turks and Caicos on May 20th. Ordered Bottle of 2018 Frank Family Cabernet ( they were out of the Silver Oak )for $350 + $38 tax + $70 service charge (tip) for a total of $458. You can order on line at several wine stores from $49 to $65. This is extremely outrageous price gouging. Would you please explain your wine pricing policies. Thanking you for your response.

When I arrived at the ritz ,check in was easy with out incident as usual, I did not have my friends and family document tangible, it was on my phone the clerk said no problem .. she told me to email the document.

She gave me the address and Everything was fine ,(she received it )we had a great room . Today however, I noticed two charges on my credit card one for $146 and some of change and another one for $271 and some odd change I called to get an understanding of the charges the person that I spoke to was rude she stated that I didnt present my friends and family document upon checking in. I explain to her I emailed to the person who check us in and the process went as it should , she again told me that I DID NOT ! I offered to forward her the copy of the email that I sent she said no she didnt want to see it because she knows I didnt send it .

She Continuously excused me not sending it . and I continuously explained that I did , then she said well maybe you sent it to the wrong person. You did not correctly spell it That was was rude and Condescending to Insinuate that I couldnt spell ! And more over she is supposed to be dealing in FACTS NIT maybes .

Further more she couldnt keep her story straight first she said I DIDNT SEND IT THEN SHE SAID I SPELLED IT WHEN I SENT so which one IS IT? . I deal in facts ! I dont appreciate her rude condescending manner towards me or insinuating that Im a liar .

To make matters worse when it was becoming clear to her that I was not changing my statement. She changed the entire narrative and had the nerve to say I was working that day and I know for a fact that you didnt send it I was standing next her . This was outrageous to go that low to be RIGHT! Im sure your established has camera , if you think Im lying I suggest you review the footage !

The person I spoke to was rude aggressive and unprofessional!

Im very disappointed in the staff you have now ! The van driver was also rude and nasty !

A $2,000 spend on a two night stay (rejuvenation package) gets you the following: nobody answers the phone at the hotel because it was check in time and they're selling spa treatments that aren't available. I thought Ritz Carlton was a step above the traditional hotel - Holiday Inn has better credentials.

With regards to a setup for the weekend (frustrating start): My wife and I were booked and ticketed to be at ANdAZ in Mayakoba, Mexico. We had previously stayed at the Fairmont and Rosewood in the same area. This was for our 37th wedding anniversary. Upon arriving at the airport we discovered that my wife’s passport had expired (shame on us). In a panic, I tried to save our anniversary trip by booking at your Lake Oconee place. Much to my chagrin, that turned out to be a $4,536.85 + $603.90 mistake (more expensive than ANdAZ). Upon arrival: 1. Waited for valet 2. No Bellman to take bags 3. Rushed greeting at front desk. No mention of anniversary (made known during reservation). 4. No one available to take bags to the room Beach: 1. Was not allowed to moor or dock our 2 jet skis 2. Beach sand being “trucked” in via utility vehicle with guests on beach. Pool: 1. Service closes too early 2. More urine in pool than in septic system 3. Need to cordon off a small section for adults only 4. Ancillary (rearr pool bar) not opened on busiest weekend of year Room: 1. Mini bar never restocked during entire stay 2. Goodies never restocked during entire stay 3. Furniture is worn out 5. Bathrooms are cleaned as best they can Gaby’s: 1. Bartender flirting more than serving. 2. Underage back of bar girl is only in the way 3. Why would you let little kids sit at the bar and/or at the tables immediately adjacent to the bar? Lobby Bar: 1. Why are little kids allowed to sit in the bar and play kid card games? Linger Longer: 1. Ordered, drank our wine, ate our appetizers, ate peanuts…..waited 1.5 hours and still no food. Manager too busy talking to “members” and not paying attention to time stamps on orders. Finally left without eating. Still paid for entire bill…wanted to help you make your numbers. Even one of the “members” sitting next to us at the bar was shocked that we didn’t receive our food. He received his even though he arrived after us. Spa: 1. Two massages for $603.90! That is more than my cardiologist charges me! I have stayed in some fine facilities in the US, Caribbean, & Europe and never was raped financially that way…..including the Arts Hotel In Barcelona and Le Bristol in Paris. It wasn’t that good. 2. Asked the spa hostess to call valet to bring around our vehicle. After waiting over 45 minutes for the vehicle she called valet to see where the car was. They told her they had forgotten. Another 20 minutes and we finally had our vehicle.

Hi We recently stayed at the ritz Carlton Orlando Florida and we were treated very badly and quite shocked as this is a 5 star hotel, as we checked in the lady at check in was exceptionally rude refusing to give us early check in although we had a small baby with us, they would ignore our requests and as well as checking out we were refused late check out, the bell boy did not bring our luggage down thereby leaving one of our bags in the room and they told us they needed the rooms urgently but as we returned back for left luggage hours later my bag was still in the room and the room was not even made up! They were very rude to us I don't know if this was due to us being Muslim! As it was racial profiling! And I will ensure I put this in many places as possible

This Ritz Carlton property is not 5 Star, maybe to you.... But but not a 5 Star rated property.

If you want early or late check in/outs you should request and confirm before booking instead of acting like a baby at the front desk. Playing the race/religion card is pathetically childish.

I am a resident at the Ritz Carlton Los Angeles. I am writing this review in regards to the disturbingly awful food that they serve here. I personally am not a picky eater however the quality of the food is so bad I sometimes cant believe how much I pay for it. I know it may seem like a ridiculous complaint but one of the reasons i moved to this building was for the hotel experience - and that includes in room dining. The food at the restaurant Nest is also awful. I cnat quite understand how an upscale hotel like the ritz carlton would have the worst possible chef in America. Everyone i know that lives in the building agrees.

I an sending a copy of My Bill, I stayed at The Ritz Carlton South beach, at a Rate of 960 US dollars, the Room wAS old And dirty, the breakfast bar had water leaks, the bellmans when asked For a taxi answered me Call Your Uber. That iS Not the service expected From a luxury hotel And worse With that rate for a room that can not be more than 400 dollars. I really demand the Ritz Carlton as a Chain To do something about IT. I would really go to the extent of hiring a lawyer And using All social media. It Is not correct. My reservation was under Mr Jorge Gamboa , And You can contact me By email answering here.

Unbelievable, trying to purchase a gift basket for my mother's 70th birthday who is on a new adventure staying at the ritz Portman in Shanghai and th Ritz is unable to provide that service. Even had a representative hang up on me when I called backed after holding for 10mins. Wow! Unbelievable and very disappointing.
